A function for staff, members of Board of Trustees, School Committees and P.T.A.’s. All food and drinks will be provided. An official photograph will be taken at 4.30pm by our Official Photographer, Ken Baker and may be ordered and paid for on the day and posted to you at a cost of $17.50.

The Three "R's" - Re-acquainting, Reminiscing and Refreshments: School Classrooms.

 This is the first opportunity to reminisce with your classmates of yesteryear and a chance to mingle in decades in classrooms. Your decade will be hosted by your decade hosts or hostesses, our current staff. During the evening you are welcome to mingle in the other decade rooms also. A complimentary drink will be served in the decade classrooms and further drinks can be purchased from the cash bar in the staffroom. Finger food will be served throughout the evening.

Official Opening: School Playground

This ceremony includes a powhiri, the official opening by the Hon Tim Barnett, M.P; ringing of the school bell, roll call, speeches, cutting the cake and planting of a centennial tree followed by afternoon tea.

Centennial Photographs: School Playground

Decade photographs taken by our Official Photographer, Ken Baker may be ordered and paid for on the day and will be posted to you at a cost of $17.50.

 Afternoon Tea: School Hall

After the official Opening Ceremony and while decade photographs are being taken, Afternoon Tea will be served in the School Hall from 2.30pm. Seating at tables will be provided for your comfort.

Centennial Dinner and Dance

A wonderful opportunity to enjoy a night of dining and dancing with your school friends and acquaintances. Guests will be grouped in decades to enjoy an evening of nostalgia. We will be entertained by our Master of Ceremonies, Grant McGrath and our band ‘UMU’. A cash bar will be available. Parking will be available in the large carpark accessed off both London and Avalon Streets. Taxi discount cards are included in your Registration pack.

Thanksgiving Church Service

Holy Trinity Anglican Church, Lynchgate Close (off Stanmore Road), Avonside.

A time to acknowledge and celebrate Linwood North, its history and what the school has meant for us all past and present. The ceremony will be conducted by the Reverend Hugh Bowron. Thanksgiving Service sheets will be available.

Morning Tea will be served following the service in the Church grounds.

School Multicultural Community Day.

Our Maori and Pasifika school communities warmly invite all Centennial participants to our School Community Day; a day of fun, fine food, stalls, entertainment and performances. The hangi will be lifted at 12 noon for lunch. Your preordered tickets for the hangi lunch will be in your registration pack.
